New Dreamz Etc. Printables

It has been a while since my last post.  I really am not sure how many read my posts but in doing research, I have found that to become more successful, you have to have a blog.  So here is my new blog post:

I have been so busy with my cosmetic company (Borne Cosmetics), which is a wonderful thing, but I can't wait to finish work so I can get to creating and designing my works of art.  I have fallen in love with PhotoShop and the endless possibilities that come with it.  I have so many works of art that I want to create; everything from fairies to vintage to steampunk.  I just opened an Etsy store selling my new digital creations. My mom, is my genius designer. She drives me crazy because she states she is not an artist...ummm...have to majorly disagree!  She is so amazing with her creativity and ideas. I really have to give her the credit for where I am with my digital art. Thank goodness she introduced me to this most incredible medium. I used to think that digital art was a way of cheating art (in comparison with the sketches and paintings I do with actual paint). I was so wrong and nothing was further from the truth.  I discovered that it is just as real as holding a paint brush in my hand and dipping it into paint and then applying the paint to canvas. It is just in a digital form.

Now getting back to mom. I feel so blessed that I am able to work so closely with my mom and be able to share our passion for mixed-media art with the world.  Currently, I am working on a Jane Austen collection (it was a customer request).  I am so excited to complete this and have my mom design a journal/album with this collection.  It is my plan to do a step-by-step tutorial featured on YouTube.  I will also be doing a video tutorial on my Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" as I have had many requests for that as well.  Coming soon to my shop, will also be more vintage ephemera, tags and envelopes.  So much in the works!
